From our consideration:
In compliance with the provisions of articles 9 and second paragraph of article 10 of the Law
No. 18.045 on the Securities Market and General Rule No. 30 of the Commission for the
Financial Market (“CMF”), being duly authorized to do so, I inform you of the following
as an Essential Fact of Agrosuper S.A. (“Agrosuper” or the “Company”):
A recent routine preventive control of animal health, of an internal nature, in a sector
productive breeding chickens breeding in the O’Higgins Region presented deviations in
one of the parameters, immediately activating the corresponding protocol that runs in
joint with the Agricultural Livestock Service (SAG), which confirmed a positive case of influence
poultry in this sector.
Consequently, the Avian Influenza Contingency Plan established for these
cases, extending the existing biosecurity measures, with the aim of containing and

of nearby birds have been monitored intensively, with no new cases reported so far.
Based on this situation, the SAG, in a preventive manner, determined the self-suspension of
certification to export poultry products of national origin for a period of 72 hours.

recently in countries such as: United States, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. The phenomenon is associated with
migratory birds of the northern hemisphere, where Chile is part of its route and, therefore, is exposed to

It is important to emphasize that the consumption of chicken meat is completely safe and that all
products are completely safe for consumption, which has been repeatedly ratified by
the competent expert bodies.
With the information currently available, the economic impact of this situation is limited to
Cost of slaughter of the productive sector involved, which considers a total of 41,400 birds
breeders, worth an estimated USD 435,000. – equivalent to 0,16 % of all chickens
which the Society maintains on its farms. Additionally, there would be expenses associated with measures of
mitigation for approximately USD 800,000. –
According to the evolution of this contingency and the date of resumption of the certificates issued
by the SAG to export to the different markets, we will be able to determine the economic impact
